Cleaning By Design is committed to the belief
that the Health and Safety of our Clients,
the General Public and Staff is of paramount importance. Our Health
and Safety Policy implements an effective health and safety management
system, reflecting this commitment and is continually
reviewed and
revised in line with legislation.
The Management Team have successfully completed a Working Safely
Course validated by the Institution of Occupational
Safety and Health Training.
C.O.S.H.H. (Control of Substances Hazardous
to Health Regulations 2002)
C.H.I.P. Chemicals (Hazard Information and
Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2002
We are fully conversant with, and strictly
adhere to C.O.S.H.H. and C.H.I.P. Regulations. Data
sheets are compiled pertaining to all products used on site, updated
and renewed appropriately.
P.A.T. Portable Appliance Testing
We use the Services of a Team of skilled Engineers
to operate a programme of regular checking and preventative maintenance
for all items of machinery and equipment used on site. All Machinery
and Equipment has an Annual Portable Appliance Testing Inspection.
RISK ASSESSMENT
We have the expertise to complete comprehensive
Risk and C.O.S.H.H. Risk Assessments.
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Cleaning By Design provides low impact support
services and as such we have a generally positive environmental
impact as a Company.
